Passive gameplay not working for me
As for most old games, the rating is much too high. I think the Premise of the game is interesting. You don't control your Heroes yourself, but you have to pay bounties so they attack certain structures or enemies. I can understand why people are fond of the game, for me personally, the gameplay is too passive. It can be extremely frustrating when you pay 500 gold for a hero, only for him to immediatelly attack a much stronger enemy, without purchasing potions first... I do like the art style and there where moments I had fun playing it. I just really wouldn't recommend the game to anyone but people who are really into this sort of thing or are nostalgic for it.

Brilliant Kingdom Sim
We have all played RPGs as heroes travelling the kingdom solving quests and taking instructions from lords. Have you ever felt you could do a better job running a fantasy kingdom? Now is your chance. In this game you are the monarch recruiting heroes to defend your lands. However keep in mind the heroes are very independent. Can you organise the defence of your lands from the hordes of monsters?
