Over all unique and fun!
I am still working to complete this game, having only bought it 2 days ago, but I am getting close to halfway through the base game and feel I have enough experience to review it. Over all I find this game unique and fun, I love building sims, micro-managing the situation so I am enjoying this game. So far the game makes you adapt how you start each scenario as one method doesn't always work for the next. The 3 main problems I have with it are, there is no way to change keybindings as far as I can see and searches produce results of people saying they can't find away to change them either. There is no way to actually make your hero(es) do something, you can set a task/quest for them to do, but sometimes they are slow to respond. And finally there is an option once you finish a scenario to take a hero on with you, it would be nice if there was a way to remove heroes from that list every time you can add a hero to the list. As a new comer to the Majesty series Majesty 2 has been my introduction. Initially I was a little hesitant about trying it, a lot of reviews that didn't shine a very good light on it, but I started noticing that most of the negative was because it was different from the original. As someone who has played a game and had a hard time getting into the sequel I can completely understand their position, but that actually encouraged me to buy it. Just like books and movies I try to look at sequels as their own thing and viewed in that light it makes it easier to enjoy the new offering.
