Good game

For anyone having this trouble: 1º- Die 2º- Choose the same mission again Why? The game resets himself from time-to-time and has checkpoints and checklists. If you like to explore, you will jump some checklists, at some point the game will be confused and it will need a reset to solve the things, get in and out of the game wont solve this everytime, because it will get those same checklist, but your death will force the game to check up those events and move on. How you can see this? The positioning of the parked cars, specially those you drive and when you clear a zone where the mission is the number of enemies that respawn during the mission are less. How its triggered: If you enter that region and get the fuse box, this will trigger the bug. Suggestion: Do the story missions like this: You allways need to help the Boss (Cassandra/Vito/Burke) and then her under boss, example, help Cassandra and Emmanuel, Vito and Alma. Gather fusion boxes only when you need. The game want you to put all your early hours in meeting the Mobs and their Rackets, when you meet them and max out their Rackets, the game will "open" and this bugs will disappear our be less likely to happen.

Puzzled player here

Gameplay of Mafia III was surely a unknown waters for the series. We were used to movie-like, thrilling and weighting story of individual who got cough up in organized crime and Mafia III is nothing like it. How it went? This game feels much more like GTA series, where story is not linear but you are "on your own" in open world city of New Bordaux. Main storyline is interwined with a lot of "business keeping" activities like fighting off competition or increasing incomes. This change wouldn't have to be much of a problem for the gameplay, but unfortunately, your ingame activities starts to be repetitivu and boring very quickly. Every mission will feel like deja vu, because once you aquire a grip on effective strategy, you won't be forced to change it ever since. You will loose track who you are fighting and why, because it will all feel the same. Story might have been a lifesaver of this game. But it is not. I mean, it is not bad, I enjoyed certain parts of it. Problem is that most of the characters are shallow, with no believable motivation and dilemmas and it is strongest with main protagonist, Lincoln Clay. Main story line is simple ride from point A to point B and when you expect the turn, there is none. Probably the only character with clear and interesting storyline is Father James, who is telling you the story of Lincoln Clay. He is perplexed, he is heart-broken, he must go against his nature. I made a terrible mistake of re-playing the Mafia II after playing this title. Game felt technologically more advanced (yes. graphics was nicer, AI was actually working with NPCs), city felt far more alive, story was captivating and I had no trouble to bond with the main protagonist. You will loose nothing with just watching the cutscenes and listening to music from radios. Unfortunately, this was not a good step for the Mafia series.

Disappointing

While i got this game during the summersale it feels like money wasted. The story starts very slow but gets interesting as you progress. Music is fantastic, the setting is interesting. But it's bugged and i'm not able to progress any further. So 11 hours in and i don't feel like giving it another try.

Bad, just bad

Hangar 13 ruined my most lovely part of Mafia II gameplay - the driving. Cars in this game feels so casual, so unrealistic. It's worse than in GTA 3, 19-years-old game. And if course it's worse than in original Mafia. Many bugs and glitches - even after years from release. The developers don't know what 'optimization' means. The only good parts of game - not bad shooting gameplay, good city and storytelling.

This game is a**

This game is the yesterday of MindsEye. The game won't even start in fullscreen mode, and if it somehow does, if you alt-tab once, it never lets you back. i have a 3060 wich clearly meets the requirements, but somehow it still gave me a message, that my pc does not meet the minimum. The game is 10% gameplay 90% cutscene. Its full of bugs, and the driving is awful. Oh, and not to mention, there is no borderless windowed option, so you can either play it in a window, which if you have more than one monitor will definitelly peak on the sides. I rate this game a PTSD /10
