Machinarium is our first full-length adventure game in which players take on the role of a robot who has been exiled to the scrap heap. You must use logic, collect important items, and solve environmental puzzles to get the robot back into the city of Machinarium so he can rescue his robot girlfriend, save the head of the city, and defeat the bad guys from the Black Cap Brotherhood.

Machinarium is a prime example of why point ‘n’ click adventure games are not dead. It was created by people who clearly love the genre with aim to deliver a top-notch entertainment for all those gamers who really miss the magical world of adventure games. And boy did the developers deliver! Every element--even the smallest ones--are crafted with exceptional care and polish by people who clearly knew what they were doing and loved it. Fantastic Game

I remember this game since it was programmed in Macromedia Flash. It's a pleasure to have it on GOG. If you like puzzle video games I highly recommend it. You can also play Samorost3 which is just as wonderful.

Beautiful art work, nice puzzles

Very nicely put together point and click adventure puzzle game with beautiful art work and soundtrack. The puzzles actually present a challenge and the game doesn't guide unless you want to.

Great Puzzles

Solid puzzles with a minimum of weird obscure item interactions you have to guess to progress, with a fantastic OST and gorgeous art. My biggest gripe was that the game was awfully specific with how you have to use certain items on certain objects, where you have to be right next to the object (sometimes with the right height, sometimes not), and then you can use the item (trying it from far away might result in the character shaking their head).
