You'll lose interest fast ...

Unles you are 12, you'll lose interest fast. I' done about 3 or 4 of this type of game, and this game got boring really quickly. The image quality is decent, but there were zero perceptable consequences to the two or three choices in the first 60-90 minutes. Plot is predictable, but characters dialpgue was reasonable. At least not a ton of spelling and grammer like in some others I've played. It's basically click 200 times, see a sex scene, repeat. Better off just watching porn and saving all the clicking.

Many Positives But Many Negatives

There are some good elements to LustyVerse but just as much bad. I found at least four different endings with possibly more and yet I didn’t love any of them. Some were better than others but none were really ideal to me. I think the problem lay in me not liking the main character much and not being given an opportunity to really make many meaningful changes to him. He’s the same vain, short sighted, borderline scumbag at the end as he is at the beginning. It’s not surprising that in many of the endings things don’t work out ideally for him. Speaking of choices there was a decent amount but there was a noticeable dry stretch of over an hour in chapter one where there are none at all. The worst part is I can think of many spots where I would have liked a way to branch the story as I didn’t like where it went. Overall though I did enjoy many of the characters and most of the second half of the game got really interesting. I wish that some of the characters that got introduced had more of a role later in the game such as Patricia and Felicity but they just seem to get dropped for me. The animations are well done although the lewd scenes could have used more choice and variety. The models and object detail were well done as well. I hated the AI like voice that narrated the game but luckily the volume is adjustable for it and I just turned it off. The music was a bit repetitive but it’s volume is also adjustable. I played LustyVerse on Linux. It never crashed but I noticed at least a dozen spelling errors which is a crazy high amount compared to most visual novels I play. The game also lacked the ability to skip text or to go back. You can manually save whenever you want and there are fifty four save sots. I paid $10.16 CAD for it and was able to see four of the endings in eight hours and thirty eight minutes. There are better visual novels out there as well as worse. The price and amount of content keeps the value in a good place.

I'd rather just read a book.

I should have read the reviews. The game feels very cheap The narration is computer-generated. Most of the imagery is stills. Being stills they could have used the most computationally expensive rendering techniques so that the hair and skin don't look like plastic, but they phoned it in instead. The modeling and lighting are spartan and lifeless. The world has no reality to it. It might as well be an XKCD comic. The writing is probably worse than most high school plays. The characters, in as much as they have any character at all, are not likeable. This game isn't even as much fun as a post on alt.sex.stories. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out the game's creator(s) as a virgin. (No offense to virgins, just trying to explain how immature the writing is.) The only reason I gave it more than one star is because it ran on a non-Windows computer without issue.

Surprisingly great if u know what u get

I didn't expect much when I bought this game. The screenshots and the game description as well as some screenshots and videoclips from the internet did not provide me a detailed impression. In my point of view you'll have plenty of fun IF you know what you'll get. After playing about 12 hours through the game, here is my review. First things first: This game is NOT like some Japanese branched story visual novel game. You do get some choices but these are not relevant at all (as it seems to me at least). There is not branched story scenario. However, you DO get a surprisingly well story that really caught my eye! I wanted to know how the story goes on. The story unfolds logically - which is not a standard in this genre/these type of games. In addition to that the graphics are quite nice and the frequent nicely done animations are great! There are drawbacks, sure. Like no real decisions even though it seems like that - plus rare minor decisions which could have been easily built in more often. But if you are up for a nice story with reasonable twists and nice animation, go for it! I had plenty of fun because I simply overlooked some drawbacks since the story and the animation positively surprised me.
