TWINSEN'S LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE is a trademark of [2.21] S.A.S
I was addicted to this game when I was a kid. I am now 33 years old and recently downloaded it again - it seems like only yesterday when I was playing it last. This game never gets old :)
Never played this game or it's prequel before, but I love it! The artwork is cute and imaginative, the soundtrack hooked me immediatly, and the "behaviour" system is a nice feature for games like these who relay in lots of exploration and conversations. The only negative thing that I could say about this game is that the platforming takes a while to get used to, and that's not really a bad thing, it reminds me of the classic Tomb Raider games. Overall, this game is a fantastic and adorable adventure.
Plus's
Every world you visit along the semi-linear adventure is filled with secret areas, buildings to explore and many fun people, animals and other sentient lifeforms to speak and interact with. The game takes a lot of inspiration from pop culture with sci-fi, fantasy and horror elements. The soundtrack is brilliantly cut into sections that play doing appropriate situations and places. The game is colorful, alive and challenging.
Minus's
The replay value is not that high since the action gameplay is awkward and dull. It feels like you're controlling a car more than a person and aiming is way more tricky than necesarry with causes some unfair challenges. I sometime also find my self getting stuck in gunfire or while being attacked by more than one enemy since Twinsen(the protagonist) gets push backwards in an animations played when damaged.
Can diffinetly recommend this game for adventure game lovers. 7.7/10
