Cannot jump where it wants you to jump.

Plenty of other reviewers have said this, the game is buggy, for a game that is this simple and has been released for so long, to have this many bugs is a mystery. A lot of stuff is a chore, like making things in the forge - where you have to repeat drawn out actions every time with a long list of things you can forge, certain controls are aweful like using gandalf to move objects and gameplay mechanics like fighting Golum which involve mashing a key for what feels like an eternity several times over. It feels like a lot of the game has been designed to draw out play time, not with quality content. Although I finished the main game, I had no intention of wasting my time grinding a load of fetch quests afterwards.

The levels and mechanics are very much creative, and I like the "equipment" mechanic, which makes it much easier to use any character you like in freeplay. However, the open world is wayyyy too big, and full of pointless sidequests that just waste time.

I found the controls annoying. Keyboard only, having to switch between multiple characters constantly, Having the screen split between characters, Whatever was good, was just because the movies were good. Figured i'd have a better and less frustrating time just playing them.

my favorite game my favorite game i like he hhobbt hobbit i like the ghobbit and ring and golden freddy and they have frodo and the dwarf troll and the the elof and the elf go brrr with his arrows he go hrrrrr rah and the dwarf the dwarf troll gimlin gimli goes RAHHHHH sometimes and i really like that detaikl i think i think that detail adds to the game alot. also i also i like the gollum i t i like when he goes my [prescioussssss. im hard
