为助弗罗多一臂之力，一组人马结成了护戒远征队——游侠阿拉贡、巫师甘道夫、精灵莱戈拉斯、矮人金利、刚铎之子波罗莫，以及弗罗多的霍比特人伙伴山姆、梅里和皮聘。
玩家将扮演乐高小人重温传奇之旅，与他们一道，在摧毁魔戒的任务中探索奇观、解开亘古谜题、征服数不尽的凶恶敌人。

Perfection
Simply one of the best LEGO games ever. The way they portray de movies, is fantastic. Comedy is 10/10. Level Design is 10/10. I had a copy for Xbox, but now I can actully play this game with my sister, and it's pure hapiness. "Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where Shadow lie. One Ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadow lie."
