Excellent old-scool RPG
I played it for 3 day. From dawn till dusk and i want to say that this game is awesome. It worth every dollar, every hour i spend on it. This is real "Must buy" comrade!

Terrible
AVOID IT!! Alot of game breaking bugs, game freezes and crashes. Encounter enemies is quick and life battle, it can go well but then suddenly you encounter enemies that butches you like nothing. Difficult level on enemies is so diffrent. This is a terrible old school game, cash grabbing game.

Brings me back...
...to a time when I had my Sega CD and Dungeon Master 2. I loved that game and have not seen many of that type since. This game is all of that and then some.

Really fun modern retro RPG
I just played it for nearly 5 hours straight from the release and I must admit that I love this RPG. Before release i wasn't deeply interested in this game, preordered it for the cause of supporting a neat looking game with it's developers. Legend of Grimrock doesn't take your hand and helps wherever you get stuck, you have to actually think. From time to time there are hints (far more in the first 2 stages) but most of the time the time you are on your own. It is really fun to explore the levels of the dungeon and to fight against big snails, skeleton warriors, green luminating blobs etc. . I didn't build a party for my own but the standard party is good though. The riddles are cleverly designed and aren't even that obvious to solve. But the feeling of solving them is way better than in any other game i played. Speaking as a non english mothertongue, it's a good thing that this game is easy understandable with knowledge of basic english. The texts aren't that long (mostly notes and short letters)

This is Good New Gaming!
I'm only a couple of hours in, but I'm already in love with Legend of Grimrock! Playing in "old school" mode without auto-mapping is fantastic. I'm not building complete maps, but scratch out some quick "landmark" maps on graph paper as I go. Getting lost just adds to the panic when getting chased by a pack of monsters. Loving the resource management. Inventory space is limited, characters get hungry and need food, and torches burnout. If you're a fan of old dungeon crawlers, you won't be disappointed. Great art, great sound, and great puzzles. I think that's enough for now... it's time to get back to Grimrock!
