The coin finally landed on it's edge!!!
These two masterpieces waited in the depths of the abyss for 25 years, but time hasn't dulled them in any way. The love that was put into these remasters shows from the start. It is a gift to us older gamers and a chronicle for the next generation to experience and enjoy. And with it comes the first taste of that terrible illusion...hope for more Legacy of Kain!

Kain and Raziel Return Better Than Ever
I only got into the Legacy of Kain series a few years ago, but they have quickly risen through the ranks as some of my favorite games of all time. Soul Reaver especially is a game everyone should play once, both for its story and Zelda-like exploration/puzzle solving. It's great to see these games finally get some love after more than 2 decades of lying dorment. Saber did just as good a job updating the visuals and controls as the Tomb Raider remasters. Between that and the added bonus content, this is a must buy for long time Kain fans.

Soul Reaver Come Back!
This is a childhood favorite game of all time, and STILL stands up today, with a few bugs still in tact! I love and roccomend this game to those that love good atmosphere, great music and story.

Great remaster
This is how game remasters should be done. Game supported by new systems/platforms, new graphics (models, texture, vfx), quality of life Improvements without chaning story, censoring and putting moderng politics.

Old PC releases not available anymore
Previous releses not available. This is major downside because couple of reasons - no gamma/brightness/contrast controls. When in the game night is coming you have to switch over and over between spectral and physical realm. Not so funny, this is time consuming and confusing, old release had such option. Controls - never was strong side of the series but in latest release is even worse. Directions are not divided between swimming and walking in option menu, so if you do not like to control your character in inverse, then either you have to accept that or switch direct controls with every submerge in water while in physical realm. Old release had such option, remaster of course do not. I count on update. If these issuees will be fixed I will rise my score. For now it is what it is...
