Fantastic remaster of still under-rated gems! This really felt like a labor of love for these 2 games and it's been long, long overdue! If for some reason you're on the fence about getting this, THEN GET OFF THAT FENCE! VAE VICTIS!

As a remaster, it's good...
It's great to be able to play these games in pc again, but it's still lacking as a remaster, the bonus features are good, but the menus and the inclusion of fanart and cosplays somehow makes it look cheap, imo. All the Legacy of Kain games needs a remake, not just a remaster, but this is great for everyone who's both, old and new to this franchise.

Simply fantastic
A terrific remaster, with updated graphics, controls, and quality of life improvements across both games. The games themselves contain one of the best narratives in any video game full of twists and turns, betrayals and revenge. This is coupled with some simply incredible voice acting. The games themselves are filled with platforming, puzzles and combat, and act as a fun and enjotyable vehicle for revealing the story.

Truly the perfect remaster
Gives you all the options to play the game as it was originally while still making it less awkward and playable for newer generations. The new graphics look good without being over the top and the story is just as wonderfully gothic opera as before. Highly recommend for gamers that want deep and tiered characters with emotion and reason behind their motives and actions as this game(s) will keep you second guessing everyone's place in this world for the entire duration.
