This game probably has the most pacing control that you can find in a video game, you can make the game as involved as you want. Want it to be a strategy simulation space fighting game, you can do that; want it to be a idle resource clicker where you fight once in a while, you can do that.
Things still get unlocked helping with either side, new buildings, new research, etc. And the space battles are as the same; each ship has extra actions that you can prompt (or does it automatically), and there's a space lazer that you can install to help the ships themselves (or you can just level them up alot and have them take care of themselves).
Having said that, there are some problems. It isn't too in-depth with the base building and it's difficult to know when your project is autosaved (I usually wait 1 min before I exit out). But it executed the concept flawlessly.
