This planet ain't big enough for the three of you.

The Earth's surface may be nothing more than a burnt out hell hole but the Survivors, the Evolved, and the Series 9 robots still want it real bad and they're willing to have a whole new Armageddon to get it. Now's your chance to stake your claim to what's left of the planet. Send in your anaconda tanks and enforcers, counter the Survivors' hi-tech armies with mutant lo-tech mastodons and giant scorpions, or hit the fields and reap some serious body count with Series 9 seeders and weed killers.

Krush Kill 'N Destroy 2: Krossfire is a fast and furious real-time strategy game where you have to be quick or be dead. Seek out and conquer oil fields with your mobile oil platforms to fuel your army. Erect buildings such as the Machine Shop, the Barracks, and the Research Lab to build and improve your army and take the fight to your enemies. Seek out ancient technology bunkers and use the technological treasures within to turn the tide of battle. Most important of all: KRUSH, KILL 'N DESTROY!

For challenging RTS gameplay in gritty post-apocalyptic setting, and an advanced AI opponent that will give you a run for your money--this is your best pick!

PROBLEMS CAN BE FIXED

Okay guys before buying the game i was little concerned about the noise in comment section reporting the CRITICAL GAME BREAKING BUGS THAT HAS NO FIX. There is a fix - here is short how to - go to your install path folder, find the KKND in the folder find the options.cfg file, edit with notepad and set following values high: MAXUNITS 150 MAXBULLETS 200 MAXEXPLOSIONS 200 MAXFLUFF 100 MAXSHADOW 100 MAXSYNC 30 MAXDEFENDERS 50 MAXCOWS 20 MAXSCHRAPNEL 20 MAXCRATERS 40 AIFACTOR1 100 AIFACTOR2 100 I've put all mine to 9999 and I do not encounter the unit cannot be built bug anymore, however i do encounter the mission failed bug. So as a workaround for that, again I edit this file, change some random value to something, save it and then load the latest save and continue the game. Mission failed does not come anymore. Annoying as it is, it allows me to complete every mission so far. Also please remember this game was released to be ran on PS1 obviously devs had to put some hard limit in place that would cause - unit can not be built bug, however the Mission failed bug is a script error, which gets fixed by either game reload or by this option file edit. So all in all great game to tickle those memory softspots.

A few steps forward, a few back

This sequel to KKnD is a mixed bag. Some good things, some bad. Apologies for simple language, GOG's new (when was this implemented?) limits on reviews is too short. Graphics - worst feature of game. Terrain is fine, units are very bad, worse than KKnD 1. Animations are bad; too few of them. Example: clock. A clock hand moves smoothly around. In this game, there are no positions between the numbers, and there are only 8 positions. So instead of a continuous movement from lets say 12 to 6, in this game you see the unit snap from 12 to 1:30, to 3, to 4:30, to 6. There are no in between animations. Sound - mutant animal sounds and survivor unit voices are reused from KKnD 1. The series 9 robot voices are bad. Music - Well done tracks for all races Storyline - similar to KKnD, the FMV intro to each mission is the extent of the plot "progression". Humor seems less consistent than in first game. Gameplay - Overall, more balanced than the first KKnD: -Buildings more build time, multiple at once cause slow build, so build order is important - research expanded ; include more buildings - High ground and vision plays a more significant role in strategy - Towers very good now (too good maybe) - Units do different damage vs infantry/vehicles/buildings - Unit pathing is the the second worst I have ever seen in any game (first place for worst goes to Dark Reign 2). - air units far too easily countered ; not worth cost and time

Unplayable?

I know how great this game is but I think GOG has not done a good job here. The Game flickers from the very beginning (using Win 10) which is really annoying. I can not really describe the problem but it makes the game unplayable. :( That is why i am voting it down...

Problem

I realy love this game..... but there is a bug that prevents me from playing it...... At some point of every mission i cant build and recruit units and on some missions i get an auto fail....... Pls fix it if you can

Why is it awesome? The music!!!

This is a pretty cool RTS-game in the post apocalyptic wasteland. Think of it as Fallout 1 as an RTS. You have: - Humans - Mutants - Robots The levels are really fun and very challenging. The environments are cool and it is quite unique to its gameplay style. What makes the game special is the awesome techno-metal soundtrack. It pumps you up, making you ready for warfare more than any other in-game music. At the time I liked the calm of Age of Empire II's music, but this is dirty, hectic and filled with chaos! Give it a shot, soundtrack alone os worth 6 bucks =)
