It may not be the best in the genre, and it certainly has its problems, but you’re given an intriguing mystery to solve in an interesting and unique setting.

Kona takes you on an atmospheric adventure where answers to the mysteries are always just around the corner. Although searching for items is a bit tedious, and side tasks muddle proceedings, it creates a frozen world that begs to be exposed.

Horrible
The game's got an incredibly annoying narrator, which explains everything you're doing - as you're doing it. It seems to me like a parody of the narrator in Thomas Was Alone, and the game itself is a cheap copy of The Long Dark, just poorly executed. Devs response to the horrible narrator was to play the game on mute.

Unable to play this game...
After starting the game, I can't get any further than the start screen with the options "Start" and "Options". Neither can be clicked and nothing happens.

Game does not run on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS
Games cannot start on Ubuntu since Unity crashes due to the file data.unity3d missing. Looking around for a solution for this but could not find a solution yet.

I wanted to like it
A boring hipster fantasy set in a boring hipster 1970's world. Buggy, slow-paced, unpolished, and ultimately not fun. There are a hundred games just like this, and Kona has nothing new to say.
