Kitaria Fables

I've really liked and enjoyed cooping this with my friend over on the Playstation and I got it again for my solo fun over here. But my friend and I -- on our first playthrough -- were a bit sad to find that, clearly, the game was supposed to be longer. And I mean that in the sense that factually has an unfinished plot. You not only might notice that it's going nowhere, it *is* going nowhere. It just ends before the climax, and there are a few bits in the locations you see that have gone unchecked. Like an ominous glowing portal that, for reasons unknown, just happily exists, but you cannot interact with it, and it never gets mentioned by anyone, nor does the plot ever make you go there. It's like the developers stopped working on the story halfway through, dropped everything, and moved on. The game itself is fine. The game is fun, if a bit grindy. Not THAT grindy as some others make it sound though. You can literally farm money and sleep in your bed and repeat the cycle as often as you want. It's not the most fun, that part, but it gets you money. Honestly, I can't in good consciousness say you should play the game, unless you want to farm stuff forever and ever. That you can do. Makes no sense but you can. So my friend and I, we had an alright experience overall, but it was pretty darn short.

Game is a joke all you do is pretty much spam spells waste of time even getting new weapons. combat is always the same spam spells, dodge and repeat. there is no real exp system combat is pretty much pointless until you need drops or to clear the dungeons. Game is also buggy AF i have feel through the floor several times and have had to reload losing save progress. When i seen this I thought this might be like rune factory but sadly it's nothing like it. This is not the RPG your looking for. MOVE ALONG

The game really isn't anything new, a bit of farming, a bit of combat and a bit of a magic system, works well, but the fact that you're a "soldier" and not just an "adventurer" feels fresh when roleplaying in the story, at least feels more grounded instead of the everyday adventurer having contact and doing chores for high ranking officials instead of relaying on their own soldiers. Haven't played much, but is enjoyable so far, give it a 3/5, not super good, not entirely generic but also not that great. Art is good though, buyed it for the art.

I enjoy this "collect, craft and repeat with harder enemies"-type of game when I want something with a bit of story, but nothing that requires too much skill. Definitely recommend keeping a Notepad file open (or using paper) to keep track of what and how much you need to collect for various items from merchants. I haven't run into any issues other than spawning into a zone, occasionally all the enemies will spawn right in front of me and I'll get mobbed by the aggressive ones immediately. The combat isn't too hard, but is definitely gear-dependent as you explore. Takes a while to gather the coin (not so much the reagents), which can be a little frustrating. Overall, good game!

This game has locked areas and quests for a reason. At the start, you can not farm. After a quest, you can and probably should, to get money and food for buffs, but this part is mostly optional. Much of the grind can be reduced with patience. The game will give you resources, once you get to that part of the story. If you want, you can get pretty good items right at the start with guides. I have played at least 10-15 hours before hacking. All together, I have spent 30 hours on this game. See my forum topic for tips and the hack.
