As a Hungarian I ask everybody to not buy this game. I doesnt have a problem with the representation of my people as rapists and such things, in a war ther is rape and there is pillaging, but I find the representation of my mother tongue, the Hungarian language in this game a disgrace.
The Hungarian language is very rich, and I understand that a modern game doesnt use medieval Hungarian, but what this game is using is XXI century very very very low working class and gypsy slang. What is used in this game, that is not Hungarian, that is shit.
Dan Varva wasn't satisfied with Skyrim so he has made an Oblivion but failed.
What this game was about? Because i've noticed only bugs, bugs again and more bugs. And some crashes. Really they even made bug in version number, because 1.7 with such amount of bugs is either bug or lul. Should it be 0.1.7?
This piece of "gamedev" is an Example of how not to make games.
The story is hilarious, we are again saving the world (in the edges of in-game map) and it's not completed even the main objective in main quest can't be done, they were definitely going to make a sequel but now i doubt it will be ever made. And this plot twist with father is rather pathetic because it literally doesn't change anything. Have they thought they are Lukas or what, eh?
Combat system praised by fanboys. In short it's awful. It looks good in 1v1, but completely broken when enemies are more than one. Terrible camera locks don't suit mouse control. Moreover game makes it clear - defense wins over offense. All those shiny combos? To Hell! they are exhausting. Just wait for them strike and Master-Strike! The funniest is that AI does the same. 5 enemies surrounding you? They won't attack they waiting you to strike to Master-strike you! Horse combat doesn't exist, but you can use horse archery to hit'n'run those mountless fools for ages. Though archery is awful by itself, not only you don't have any reticule but also protagonist's hands are shaking like by drunkard. So prepare to hit with 1 arrow out of 10. Also about the armor. It protects not better than piece of paper when you are exhausted. Such an armor...
The World is literally empty even "random" encounters occur in static places
Crashes, bugs, and "innovative" save system will show you how to lose tens of hours of your progress.
Though this progress can be very little because game forces you to run back and forth in order to extend gameplay time.
And terribly unoptimized graphics.
I ran out of space... so horrible this game is.
This game is terrible. The concept is great, and scenery and story are beautiful. But it is unplayable for a few reasons. 1. The combat system is dog shit. Following all the tips you're given mean nothing. You can't win a fight to save your life and wind up in jail for days, causing you to fail quests. 2. You get sent on quests to talk to someone like Captain Bernard or the Bailiff and they are impossible to find. They are even in heavily locked area, or a private area where if you go, you'll be confronted by a guard who will inevitably kick you out or chase you down and arrest you. This is a giant waste of time. Save your money.
My first review ---- Only one star because I cannot give less. Movement on pc is atrocious, Saving is a joke . Not what I would class as an open world game. Elex , Witcher 3 , Skyrim , Morrowind all allow us a choice of which quest to do next, this game is very linear.
I have bought many games off GOG and this the the worst and a total waste of money.
