First things first, make sure you lock your FPS to 60 and enable VSync through Nvdia/AMD control panel. Also in order to play in a modern resolution set lauch arguments for it (''/width=1920 /height=1080" or whatever your monitor resolution is)
Now to the game it self, don't expect much. I would only recomend it for those who are really into the franchise and are curious to see how it all began. The gap between this and Just Cause 2 its insane and its the one I would recomend playing it first.
You're always surrounded by enemies but they're dumb and easy to get rid of so it doesn't end it up being a real problem.
Sometimes however the difficulty will increase sharply, specially when enemies have armored vehicles such as tanks and choppers.
The game doesn't overstay its welcome and can be beaten in about 8 hours only focusing in the primary missions.
While some actives such as liberations can be fun and offer some interesting rewards, I honestly wouldn't waste much time with it. The best rewards come from the main missions anyway.
I've seen some fairy negative reviews for this game here so I'm just posting my overall experience because I don't really think it deserves the hate. It's old and clunky sometimes, with weird difficulty spikes but completly playable and enjoyable if approached from the right angle.
