A nice surprise!

I bought it without much of hopes but I was surprised by this game. It's not a masterpiece, but since I like strategy games that are basically 1 - build a base and get resources - 2 make an army and kill everything I enjoyed playing this game, also because it's very nice to fight with the mechs featured in this game, that are really good to see, expecially the giant ones that can crush buildings by just walking over them. The graphic is nice and there's also a nice story to follow with some very good characters, cleverly put together during the main campaigns, also with some nice movies between the missions.

Great potential and awesome flavour

This game is a standard RTS, but with some great additions like a cover system and the ability to use buildings. Yes, the buildings prevent you using your unit's weaponry, but it gives additional cover, so while they are in the building they are not receiving damage - something a previous reviewer may not have noticed. I really enjoyed the storyline, it's a great alt universe to play on. I enjoyed the ability to have the game and cut scenes play in maiden languages with subtitles, for a better immersion. I sometimes cringe when it's just english with a janky accent. Hearing units speaking in Polish, Deutsch or Russian is great - and made my Polish wife laugh from the other room every time she heard something in her language. The controls can be a bit sticky and you really have to keep on top of things, but all in all I feel like it was money well spent on this game - especially being that it was on discount when I bought it.

Dissapointing

Good concept, good idea, good story, dissapointing performance. This game had potential but the truth is it's a huge let down, it's not particularly fun to play since there are just no RTS elements but set pieces to follow. No real strategy and usually just cheese to push the story forward. Some missions are okay but most of them are dull and repetitive.

Superb little RTS gem. Underrated!

How come I didn't hear about this game before?! Could buy it on a special promo (for the deluxe version), and I must say, I didn't regret my 15 bucks at all! Installed it just today, and already played 7+ hours on it. Contrary to some claims here, I didn't experience one single bug, as of yet. The gameplay is of classic RTS staple, much like starcraft and many others RTS-games: the gamemechanics are nothing super-novel, but decent. Could have used a bit more complexity in regard to base-building mayhaps, but maybe I'm still not far enough into the campaign to have more complex options available yet. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised; this has a high-quality feel to it, with eye for detail. The story is fairly interesting, and I'm intrigued by the plot; you start off with playing as a girl of the resistance, joining the army to search for someone whom will have an influence on the war - well, I won't spoil it any further. Very well told through cut-scenes. But also the worldbuilding is quite novel and original. The story is set in a sort of alternate history of a parallel world to ours, were the great world-powers engage in the... well, first World War, but then between 1920-30 instead of 1914-18, and with tech that is, indeed, from between that period. As for the warmongering countries/empires; the names are slightly changed, but it's clear which powers are at war. :-) I liked how one had the option to let every army/country speak in their native language, btw: that was a nice touch of extra immersive realism. Though you can set it just on English as well for comfort, of course. Additionally, their tech in this timeline has some peculiar changes; they primarily use mechs instead of tanks, and those feel like steam-punk-y, but with oil/petrol instead of steam. ;-) Really cool concept, imho. They're very well done, giving the impression of both new and old tech. All in all, this game so far has impressed me, and is underrated, imho. Strongly recommended!

题材我很喜欢，但目前问题很多

我很喜欢这种艺术风格，很早就在关注这款游戏，目前单位和地图的数量还是偏少，但是可以理解；目前最大的问题是游戏会突然奔溃，十分影响游戏体验，希望能尽快解决游戏奔溃的问题。
