Iratus: Lord of the Dead tweaks the team tactics formula of Darkest Dungeon but cuts down on the management aspect to focus firmly on moving quickly from combat to combat. It lacks the narrative flair or emotional punch of its inspiration but makes up for it with satisfying tactical options and a balanced challenge level.

Darkest dungeon without the stakes
Not a bad game, but the nature of the undead being able to transfer the brains seems to take the bite out of the death of a favorite unit. That said the enemies hit pretty hard as things go along so it is more a feature but not quite to my taste.

Relaxed fun
This game reminds me of Alice Cooper. So over the top, that it provokes more laughs than shivers. It stays true to its style and is done well.
