Klei Entertainment, the independent studio behind the hit games Mark of the Ninja and , Don't Starve, presents: Invisible, Inc.
Take control of Invisible's agents in the field and infiltrate the world's most dangerous corporations. Stealth, precision, and teamwork are essential in high-stakes, high-profit missions, where every move may cost an agent their life.
Character selection: Start with any of the 10 unlockable agents in the game, plus 6 agent variants, and 6 starting programs to crack corporate security.
Deep customization of builds: each play through is different as you create your own strategy using agents, items, augments and programs, and adapt to your surroundings.
Randomly generated world: locations, threats, and loot are randomly generated so each playthrough is vastly different and you’ll never get complacent.
Choose your own game mode: with 5 different game modes and extensive custom generation options, each player can play the way they prefer.
Fully animated cutscenes and voice over: with hundreds of lines of voice over, great animation, and fully animated cutscenes, we didn’t spare any expense to make an immersive experience.

Fun game where you are balancing sneaking around and completing objectives. The longer you stay within a level the more risky it becomes so you can decide the risk/reward for your playthrough. Thought the game was perfect length being short and sweet. Multiple difficulty options add replayability and extend play length for those looking for more.
Enjoyable and stylish! Excellent background music, nice graphics style, smooth gameplay.
Very customizable - you can use custom difficulty levels to alter almost any aspect of the gameplay, to create a difficulty that's right for you (how many rooms does each level have? How frequently do you get 'money' rewards in the level? Does the alarm meter go up automatically? How many turns do guards stay down for when you knock them out?)
I massively enjoyed my time playing Invisible Inc but I'm rating this game 4 stars because it made me think about and miss the fun I had in 'Gunpoint'
- There's no quick way to replay the entire level when you catastrophically goof (there is a rewind button you can use to undo turns one by one).
- Turn based format (a pro in some ways, but also makes it harder to get into the 'groove' and adds excess time to each level)
- Areas are randomly generated (a pro in some ways, but I miss learning a level inside and out)
- This is a very serious game (I miss the humor)
A turn based sort of X-COM strategy game where you're pulling off heists instead of fighting aliens.
A solid premise, but it's ultimately undone by trying to be a roguelike with procedural levels. Once you get the mechanics down, 90% of your failures will come from getting screwed over by a ridiculous level layout. There seems to be zero thought put into generating any kind of fair or logical levels. It's just random rooms and junk slapped together, often with dead ends and twisting spaces that make no sense. You're given zero idea of each level layout beforehand and are totally blind. Zero idea if any path is a dead end. Zero idea if you're close to the objective or if you should abort.
Like another review said, this would have been much better off as a pre-set campaign with thoughtfully designed levels. Then it wouldn't hurt as much going into each level blind. But they wanted to be an endlessly replayable roguelike and the gameplay just isn't deep enough for that. Because you're blind to the completely random layout, you're not planning a heist so much as simply reacting to every single new room you run into. No grand plan, just dealing with one tiny room at a time. It's a very simplistic, repetitive loop.
Might be worth $5 and beating once in a few hours, but nothing beyond that.
This game is a tactical turn base infiltration game with some RPG elements.
The mission objectives are stated but the player has to find out where they are on the map. This leads to a lot coming and going on the map without having to think to much on what to do. How can I make a plan of action if I dont know where I am going anyway?
There is very little planning possible beyond the next door/room.
"Before each room, check what is inside, then deal with sercurity measures within that room then move to the next room and repeat until the end of the mission. " It is very repetitiv.
