I guess its okay but not like I-76
A good story, better music and did we mention Taurus is the man yo! But it'll never top Interstate 76 and the story of Groove and Jade Champion and the conflict to save our strategic oil supply! MAN! I almost wish we really had this sort of thing here in real life!

An underrated gem, but not for Windows10
I absolutely loved this game growing up and it was easily one of the best car combat games out there at the time, sure it's not as in depth as the original, but it has far superior graphics and physics to any other car combat game of the time. Unfortunately, if you have Windows 10, this game does not open. I have tested it on multiple computers and spent hours looking for solutions for both this version and the disc version and so far I have found nothing. If you have an OS that is older than Windows 8 however, you will be able to play and enjoy this wonderful game and it's awesome soundtrack. I'll rate 5 stars if this gets a Windows 10 compatibility update.

Reccomendation to run game
Also for anyone having issues running, make sure to right click the icon, go to properties and run it in Windows 98/Me and works like a charm ^^

An inferior but solid game.
Interstate '82 feels smaller than its predecessor, and less inspired visually. Enemy cars are destroyed more easily, making them feel like fodder rather than a threat, and the new ability to get out of your car is an awkward, clunky, and ultimately poor addition to the series. With that said, for fans of '76 who are interested in another adventure with Groove and Taurus, the game is mechanically sound, and often enjoyable enough to overlook its shortcomings. Once you come to terms with the fact that Activision decided to go in a different direction with this one, there is still plenty to enjoy. I'll conclude by stating that Interstate '82 is worth the price of admission for the final boss encounter alone. Play '76 first, and then give this a try.
