too much RNG, too tight.
Unfortunately this game has too much RNG in it to be enjoyable.. very nice atmosphere but the game loop is too tight to leave any mistake to be made. You kindof learn as you go but stil.. the difficulty is abnormally tough.

Die, die, die and the die some more...
I guess I'm just not smart enough for the game. 9 hours and 15 deaths in the first act (I hear there's more to the game) I gave up. At one point or the other luck's going to run out and you end up with a bad draw or two that screws you over. Two stars for the decently fun part of the game that it lets me play. Might give one star more if I didn't know that I'm missing two thirds of the game (seen plenty of recommendations saying to stick with it, it'll get better later). Sigh... This is why I don't play Dark Souls either. Some games make you feel powerful, some smart, some scared, some sad. This just made me feel dumb. Would not recommend this to anyone.

A painfully slow, simplistic roguelite
The title says everything. Considering the high reviews, i expected this one to do a genre subversion, or something. But it didn't. It's yet another generic roguelike, with EVEN LESS gameplay than the other ones have, and even more randomized bullshit. And, you know, nothing says horror like trying to optimize my goddamn mana curve. Ignore the reviews; DO NOT go in blind! This is not an adventure game, it's not plot-driven, it isn't horror - it's a grind!

RNG for the worst
Well, I thought im getting a little card game, with a story. Sure, I somewhat got it, but the RNG ist way to stupid: Sometimes I die against the very first boss, sometimes I cant even reach the second. So far I couldnt even beat the third one, because of the RNG which will determine which cards you will get. The "power of chose" is stupid, if all I can chose from are cards which need a sacrifice first. Which isnt helpful if the enemy is throwing 3 of 5 cards with instant attack abilities at you. WIth no sacrifice needed to spawn. And all I have on my hand? Cards which need a sacrifice first. Good job. I deinstalled it, because it gets boring to replay the first three levels for 3 hours now. No thanks.

Looks into your files/folders
Overall a good game but it does get repetitive after going through the 3 "worlds". My BIGGEST thing that I dislike about this, in a point in the game they asked you if they can see your real files/folders on your computer... WHY!? you could of had the "cardmaster" person's files (if you don't want the game to access your computer) but it FORCES you to do so! Worst of all, this game canpotentially DELETES YOUR FILE (has it saying in the game). If you care about privacy DON'T GET THIS GAME!
