Ultherst was once a peaceful, God-fearing land until the Three Scourges of God came to pass as foretold by Saint Ezekiel, one of the twelve followers of the First Prophet. First came the famine that devasted the populace. Next came the plague that added more unfortunate souls on Death’s abacus. Finally came the great rain of fire, and death fell down on sinner and innocent alike, blood flooding the streets in place of water. The people, in their desperation, turned away from the Holy Mother Church and delved deep into pagan decadence or succumbed to the temptation of the Devil. You have been charged with the office of Inquisitor. It is up to you to investigate crimes against the one true faith and root out heresy--using any and all means necessary. As in all best computer RPGs--the most important choices are yours to make.
Inquisitor is a unique blend of action-oriented combat with a deep and involving tale of betrayal, torture, madness, and infernal damnation. Put your wits to the test as you collect evidence against possible heretics and put them to trial once they have been charged. Use the might of the Inquisition to extract a confession from your subjects, but be warned, use your power wisely or you will face the consequences. If a gritty old-school open-ended isometric RPG is what you looking for, look no further. Inquisitor will provide you with hours of gameplay and a dark, involving story.

should be much better....
I own the original, bought in czech republic many years ago. When i saw the trailer i cant wait to play this game but i was a little shocked. This game is no good at all... u have almost everything here, it looks like Divine divinity, looks like Diablo, looks like nice rpg with the possibility of tortue peaople and get some information u need.Looks like Baldurs gate if u want to travel to a different locations..Surrounding look fine to me... but the game is boring, the combat in the game is really hard (especially in the begining), in the game is many many bugs. So idea of this game is great but in the final ull feel the waste of the potencional.... shame

Too many text
The game had good graphics, a normal jogability...but for me is too boring reading all texts when you aprouch the NPCS...the games production, should be thought about this. It would be better if the game had voices on NPCS...will be more dinamic!

Incredibly Offensive
I want to preface this saying that I am a huge believer in games as a form of cultural expression, nor do I have any interest in censorship, and oppose it wherever I can. Inquisition is pure propoganda. Pagans are evil, their magic can only be mastered by evil alignments, and your role is a sadistic member of one of the most historically vile and reprehensible groups the planet has seen. Remember that many, many innocent victims died to this racial and religious oppression. There are plenty of games where you can kill others without uplifting the ideal of genocide and torture a moral path. I love fantasy, and would that the developers could have moved away from real-world religious politics, or at least attempted to distance themselves, this game could have been a different story, but they didn't, so replace 'Pagans' or 'Heretics' with Homosexuals, Women, Muslims, and Jews, innocent of any charge, because that's what this game is about. Everyone has to draw the line somewhere. The only difference between this and one where you take on the role of a Hitler Youth who begins a quest of training to operate gas chambers to save the world from impurity is the span of a few hundred years. I don't see that difference as a meaningful one. I don't like saying these things. I want games to be supported in society, not condemned, but this bothered me deeply.
