Horrible pathfinding. bad game
The pathfinding is horrible, the lack of places to go is ridiculous, and it is so repetitive and so are the cheap deaths.

nostalgia = rosy tinted glasses
Now I remember why I don't much care for playing old school tsr games. 1st level characters are way too squishy and easily taken out. The hassle of raising anyone means you save scumm a lot. The combat is almost relentless and gets boring after a while. The game is stable and runs well. Thats about all I can say about it. The rest of the game just on my nerves. Its no planescape torment, and that is a much better game.

Not working on linux
All beamdog enchanted ports for linux are borked due to requiring long obsolete shared libraries. GOG just add this damn missing libssl library and others. If I wanted to download sketchy binaries from internet just to make this work i would just pirate those games.

Meh
Not that I viewed the original too highly, since it's a pure combat Infinity Engine RPG, but the amount of 'things you'd expect to get enhanced that didn't get enhanced' in this game is even higher than the enhanced editions of BG1/2. Only worth buying if you don't have a digital copy of the originals yet, and on a nice discount/sale.
