Purchased it twice.
Bought the game again when it released of GOG to have it DRM Free. Great story with lot's of characters and a big detailed open world where you fight animal like machines with a spear and a bow, to prevent the machines from overrunning the world again.

A great game with not so optimal port
The game itself is great. The gameplay is the best of the genre. The world is a wonder to explore. The story is decent and the characters are adaquate enough (but easily the worst aspect of the game). So if you are a fan of open world games you should play this one. But then there is the crashing. At least for me the game crashed on stratup a lot. I think I managed to fix it by disabling the GOG overlay and moving the game to boot drive, but things like this are really annoying to deal with. And that is why I can only give four stars. After the crashing stopped, I managed to get nice stable 60 fps with almost max settings on my rx 580. So on that front the performance is quite good. So overall a great game, but your experince will vary depending on if the game crashes or not.

Awesome overall
This game feels just finished and well designed. Exciting world to discover with demanding but not frustrating combats. Also it runs very smooth for the nice graphics offered

Fun
A really fun game. It's only downfall, I think, is too much content? I did so may side quests I evetually got burned out and never finished the main story line. Even though I fdidn't finih, I enjoyed it a lot.

Great game all around
The world is beautiful. The story is good. The writing is good. The voice acting is QUITE good, and there's a LOT of it too. The facial animation matching the words being spoken is quite good, most of the time (there are unfortunately a few characters that aren't done to the level of the rest, but they're a tiny minority). The gameplay is good. Game ran solidly for me, no glitches or crashes, and a solid framerate. Just one or two times when loading I thought it might crash, but then it continued running like normal. This is a really good game. Plus, nice to have a female protaganist for once, one who is actually written well and isn't overly sexualized. The societies and characters touch on sexism as a social issue without beating you over the head with it. And you fight both female and male human enemies, unlike the one reviewer said. Wish more games had solid character writing like this one.
