Recommended
With space battles now more spectacular than even the evergreen Eve Online, and with far less effort required to enjoy them, this sees two excellent games restored. While in a past it was tricky to argue a decisive case for either of the Homeworld games for greatest RTS of all time, now they've been forever merged, updated and supplemented with the original games, the collection is indispensable.

Now i believe in remaster
I never believe in the remaster versions, always think it`s like a try do a candy from the crap and try to making quick money. Maybe I just never saw that kind recast of the product. Now I saw that it not just change in the textures and/or physics, it`s totally new experience of gaming.

Needs HW:C
I played HW:C LONG before ever playing HW 1. Probably disadvantageous to me, as Barking Dog created much of the HW:C and now no one can seem to get the source code for remastering it! It also caused great frustration when attempting the original. Tactics adopted during Caty, such as using the Kuun-lan as a giant ramming ship whilst powering up a siege cannon for massive area damage are simply not possible when "mothership" is broken, and has no working Ion Drives!!!!! (what sort of engineer would test a hyperdrive without operational ion drives.... how stupid is that?) And collisions cause instant death to the lower massed vessel..... hmmm...... But I actually liked ramming frigates! So I played around with the Steam version of HW1 on my brothers system..... and was as disappointed in HW1 as the first time I played it (after Caty of course). Still, it is a graphically advanced game and would do very well to have Caty added. I'd love to see the Super Acolytes and Archangels with advanced (not boxy) graphics of the modern age. Because it is a classic game, and still good in its own right, I'm sure I will eventually add this to MY collection as well. Just as my brother did.

Wow, Great Game
Wasn't expecting this to be that good of a game. But it's Amazing. love the game and the gameplay, still learning it, and it's still really fun.

Strongly recommended
Seeing this in GOG made me so nostalgic, this is a good game, a difficult one, one of the best strategic games ever, very creative, if you love Strategy games and Science Fiction this is the perfect game, get it you will not regret it!
