With space battles now more spectacular than even the evergreen Eve Online, and with far less effort required to enjoy them, this sees two excellent games restored. While in a past it was tricky to argue a decisive case for either of the Homeworld games for greatest RTS of all time, now they've been forever merged, updated and supplemented with the original games, the collection is indispensable.

Cool and great game.
I remember playing the Original, and loved it. To contridict someone, Battlestar Galactica was around way before the original came out. The Remastered one looks and sounds great and better than the original.

A Jewel Forgotten
This was one of the best strategy games of its time. It had an amazing story line and excellent graphics. The game also had really good game play. Its saddening that this game didn't get a future since it had such potential.

One of the Best RTS Games
As a remaster: The game played smoothly for me. The remastered graphics aren't mind-blowing, but very effective in giving the original a facelift to at least be on par with the second game. The biggest split among fans is how the remastered edition changed the first game to be more in line with the sequel, and removed a few overpowered things, but the classic versions of each game are also included -- so you can play whichever one you prefer. Overall: I was obsessed with Homeworld 1 when it first launched. It has a very strong story for an RTS and a wonderful soundtrack. I loved building out a fleet, and also capturing enemy ships to use as my own, all of which have unique abilities. Homeworld 2 is a slightly less compelling story, but still very much fun to play. Homeworld 2 in particular has a TON of mods for almost every sci-fi fandom you can think of that features capital ships, so you'll have lots of reasons to revisit.

Good Remaster of Great classic RTS
Looks really good, fun gameplay and really good story-telling. This is one remaster that was done well.
