Solid Sequel
From what I've played, it brings everything good about Hollow Knight while bringing fresh ideas. Hornet's moveset took a little time to adjust to but it's fun to use.

Disappointing sequal
I loved Hollow Knight and was hoping for a similar experience. Silksong has improved in graphics but in everything else it fails to surpass it's predecessor. Silksong is a long frustrating game that seems to be designed to be that way for no good reason. Music and exploration do not feel as magical as they did in the original Hollow Knight. When finished Silksong felt like a cumbersome chore I had finally finished, while the original left a satisfying longing for more.

The Linux version is still bad
Good game but is pretty sad that they never ever fixed the controller issues on the Linux port on HK and they still have the exact same issues with this game too. The proton version runs just fine, so it's sad Linux is still being treated as second hand citizens
