Great, unforgettable journey
100% completion done. Insanely good sequel to Hollow Knight. Probably harder on 1st try compared to HK 1st try and seems to be a longer game than original. Art. music and world itself are again, thing of beauty. For me main theme of Choral Chambers in act 2 is peak moment when it comes to music. Sets great atmosphere for the zone. In games i love when difficulty level is increasing in a steady way. The one problem Silksong had is that the very beginning of the game was slightly too hard. Once you unlock new weapons it should become easier but Team Cherry could tone down few early bosses. Overall i liked the atmosphere in original HK sligthly more which was darker and was focused more on the Abyss. My final score is 9.5/10 For sure if you loved original Hollow Knight you will also love this game and the price makes this game a total steal. Planning to buy Silksong second time in a future.

Silksong is bigger and meaner HK
The wait was well worth it. The art, music, level design, quests all feel amazing and after full on 42 hour long playthrough I feel incredibly satisfied. Silksong incorporates more moves into your base kit and gives you more freedom in further shaping your movement. This comes with a price of the game being quite hard pretty much from the start to finish. If you haven't played the first Hollow Knight, I'd recommend to start with that as it is definitelly more beginner friendly and enemies behave mostly simpler than in Silksong. If you insist to skip the first HK then the good thing is that lore wise Silksong has only a few connections to the first HK and you won't be lost.
