Well worth the long wait
I've played for 45 hours now, and am not even halfway through act 2. It is a tough game, and I am not a very skilled platform gamer, but I happily clawed my way through Hollow Knight and am now doing the same for Silksong. If you haven't played either, start with Hollow Knight - Silksong's difficulty definitely picks up after Hollow Knight. That being said, it is a beautiful game, expertly crafted, with beautiful graphics, sound effects and music, with great controls. A new crest system makes it possible to tailor the game even more to your playstyle, and it is truly impressive that Team Cherry has pulled it off to make the game so versatile and so unique for every player. Definitely give it a shot if you like platformers or Metroidvanias at all and if you're up for a challenge.
