awesome classic
An amazing pseudo puzzle game where you figure out how to most optimally kill your targets. Achieving silent assassin really makes you feel accomplished.

One or two patches short of greatness
Don't get me wrong, I know there's a lot of fun to be had with this game. However for me personally, I the game crashes when I finish a level. I had played the first level four separate times to test out different settings that were recommended, but nothing worked, If the game works for you, don't take it personally, I envy you. Here are some pros and cons I noticed in the short time spent in the first level. Pros: - It seems you can play the whole game in first person - when you press F1, the perspective changes. That's pretty awesome feature that I really didn't expect. That's unfortunately it for my pros, because the first level is quite linear, so there isn't much sandbox going on, which I think is what Hitman is about. Cons: - Right of the bat, if you have multiple monitors and want to play fullscreen, you will have a bad time. Windowed is a necessity. - However the windowed mode is borderless, and is stuck to the top left - The subtitles are nowhere near for all voice, not even for all cutscenes. Also some cutscenes can be skipped and some can't. Especially the monologue in beginning is annoying when you're just trying to figure out the settings to make the game not crash. - The game seemed too dark to see anything at times, even with gamma way up. When I tried playing during the day, even slightest hint of sunlight would make it impossible to see anything after you trip the breaker in the first level. I know that is partly on me not having blinds and having crappy screen, but that's what the brightness slider is usually for. To repeat myself, I don't think it's a bad game, not by a longshot. If it weren't for the crashes, I probably would have given it 4/5. Or maybe I would have bothered looking for some tools to fix the brightness and windowedness to make it 5/5. However game that crashes after you finish a level is no fun for me, and supposedly it's not that rare of an issue.

Uninspired repetition of the formula
I played Codename 47 and Silent Assasin when the games were released and I loved them so I wanted to try Bloodmoney as it is praised as the best classic Hitman by many and....I was quite disappointed. Bloodmoney feels like a pedestrian attempt to cash on the previous success. There is nothing terrible about the game but it adds nothing new and it just repeats the same thing all over again. That alone wouldn't be bad if you had a good story and interesting ways of completing the missions but the story sucks and you will be bored by the missions because they don't offer enough originality and variety. The cinematics that had been a nice reward for completing a mission are gone and the dubbing is very limited. It is more like an mission pack of Hitman 2 Silent Assasin with improved graphics and not a new fully developed game. It is not exciting and it is not fun if you had played the first two games. I liked only the music but that is too little to rate this part any higher than 2/5. You can try it but I would recommend to get Alekhine's Gun or The Moment of Truth instead of Bloodmoney. They are at least fully realized games with their own original storylines. If you dont know Hitman then get the first two games (you can get Hitman Contracts instead of Codename 47) which are classics and despite having some issues are way more satisfying to play than Bloodmoney.
