Still the best Hitman has to offer
As a franchise Hitman was quite a "niche" game, it wasn't that popular, nor that recognized, if it wasn't in specific circles, that is, up until this game got released. Blood money allowed for more people to experience the idea of what the Hitman games are about whilst keeping, and building on top of its identity. With graphics that hold up today, enviroments that are unique and help to keep every level distinct and fresh, and an excellent, albeit, explotaible gameplay, Blood Money has still retained its place as the best the franchise has to offer. It added up improvements in difficulty options, and significant changes in the way the player approach each of its objectives by emphasizing freedom of choice for the player through its design, without the need for waypoints or markers. The level design, as the simplicity of its mechanics keep the overall game intuitive enough to incentivize the player to explore and analyze each situation before executing their plan. Each of the levels has a unique concept and takes place in an adventurous enviroment that tells as story as you play, once again demonstrating that Agent 47 isn't neccessarily the protagonist of the Hitman franchise but instead an accessory for the player to feel identified with as the multiple situations, and characters you encounter in your enviroment present themselves as obstacles to overcome. With the help and focus in experimentation, multiple upgrades can be purchased for your weapons, guns that you collect through levels can also be used across your experience if it's your choice. Humor also became part of the experience for the first time, given that in past entries to the franchise this was secluded to perhaps a minor comment or two that you could see in cutscenes, while in this experience it is propagated in a series of incidental events that you will experience throughout the gameplay. The game still remains a masterpiece in design, and in creativity.
