Heroes of Might and Magic® 5 Bundle includes Heroes of Might and Magic® 5 and its two expansions: Tribes of the East and Hammers of Fate.
Heroes of Might and Magic® 5 is a turn-based strategy game in which you can build cities and besiege them, train troops and slaughter them, and explore new lands – and crush them under your iron heel. You directly command your armies on the battlefield and aid them with your character’s abilities as well as your own strategy skills. With six unique factions to choose from, each with its own set of buildings and creatures, Heroes of Might and Magic® 5 provides gamers with the strategy and detailed graphics that the series has been known for. As you progress through the game your character gains levels of experience that allow him to learn new spells and abilities. All this is set in the magical and enchanting setting of the legendary Might and Magic® universe.

Could be so much better
It feels like homm3 on steroids, beautiful graphics and sound, interesting scenarios, engaging maps, but... the core game feature, computing AI turn, takes ages. You spent most of time look at progress bar. This kills whole immersion. I know you can download unofficial homm 5.5 mod or hack it with cheatengine, but I try to avoid using unverified software. I was hoping gog version would be fixed, and mod homm 5.5 included and virus tested. Sadly I can't recommend this game, as this one crucial feature makes it simply unplayable. It becomes apparent in some scenarios when there are lots of opponents and there is more waiting than playing, it just drags on for ages. Giving it 2 stars , if gog includes mod to fix AI turn time I will raise score.

When it comes to such a legendary game as heroes, heroes V is in my opinion the worst part

Better than 4, maybe even better than 3.
As much as HOMM 4 was a disaster there were good ideas poorly executed in there. The idea of personalised heroes for different kinds of strategy was good, but poorly implemented. HOMM 5 manages to implement this idea alot better. Your choice of hero makes a difference. How you specialise him will define how you fight. With the final expansion this element is perfected by allowing you specialise your army as well. Where HOMM 3 stood out in design, deep strategy and myriad of army compositions HOMM 5 have done a great job matching it while adding its the extra hero customisation. While HOMM 3 will always a special place in my heart I do think that HOMM 5 manages to make capture the essence of HOMM 3 and build upon it. Making it the superior game.
