As many other people have said, this game has more replayability than any human can make use of and is of impressive quality in general. However I think the best aspect of this treasure is the graphics. While it is not high definition (more on that below), they're the type of graphics that only build more character as time goes on. You may stumble across an HD version of this game but it is important to note that it is not the complete version, that is, it will not include the DLC because the source code was lost. Be sure to get the complete version as it has far more content. Nevertheless, this game is perfect for anyone into classic RPG's and or like to have game nights with friends, local or otherwise! If you want to find other fans to play with there is a semi-active subreddit r/heroes3 with tournaments as well!

I have noticed that there were some comments complaining about the resolution and unskippable intro. Therefore I was a little bit uneasy about buying this version. (But I did not want to buy the Hereoes 3 HD on Steam because of obvious reasons). So unfortunately it is true that intro can't be skipped and that the resolution is bad... but there is a super easy fix - there is a very popular and very good HD mod for this version - google it. It is easy to install, fixes both problems, and adds many new features, that improve gameplay (for example a button that allows you to switch all the units of two heroes who meet, in one click). So if you are afraid about the beforementiones problems - don't be.

Hello. I don't usually bother to review games, I'll make an exception with HOMM3. It is the greatest game ever made. Period. I've played it way way more than any other game. It does help that I played HOMM1 before 1997 and when HOMM2 came out, it was a must buy for the 10-year old me and felt like perfection. When HOMM3 came out, I wasn't even interested because I already had HOMM2. Of course, later I got seriously addicted. Now I'm in my thirties and I see that it's perfection in a way no other game can be. I predict that HOMM3 will stay with me for the rest of my life. Good enough for five stars? Lauri, Finland
