greatest game of my childhood
this game is the reason im a gamer today, when i was 8 my mother bought it to me and from then i played almost everyday, eventually i lost the disc without completing the actuall game (i didnt know english back then) but now im buying it again and intend to finish it properly! addictive, strategic game, the best of the siries, do not miss!!!

Best of the series
Brass tacks... An exceptional game for the genre. You will find yourself taking just "one more turn" until the wee hours and wonder where the time went. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Loooong time HoMM player
I got into Heroes 2 and played thru 5. Heroes 3 was probably the very best in the series. They did a fantastic job with the rpg-ish parts and the units and castle upgrades are very well done. I'm a TBS guy and it's difficult to find good TBS games like this 1 in 2014. Great game. Shout out to anyone else who remembers the Astral Wizard's site of custom maps!
