I don't get it.
Tries to be mysterious and meaningful ends up just being boring and annoying. Everything this game does any of the Souls games do better. Too cryptic for it's own good and not very fleshed out. There is a weird "moon phase" system where it would spawn some challenge rooms but no idea what else it does. Healing items don't restock after you interact with your "bonfires" so sometimes it might be better to let enemies end you. Haven't found a method to increase the number of heals. You get some healing items when hitting enemies but otherwise you just end with 2. There is a kind of "shadow realm" but never figured its purpose. Combat isn't very interesting, shields are useless and you would just end getting yourself stunned trying to use them. Not very balanced. Found an annoying bug that when interacting with the yellow hand messages you would lose access to any actions and have to alt+F4. Forced myself to finish it. Can't recommend it. It has some ideas but nothing to really make itself stand out.
