Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a masterclass of atmosphere, storytelling, and the marriage of mechanical and conceptual design. While there are moments that feel shoehorned in to remind us we're playing a videogame, the care and attention Ninja Theory has clearly poured into Senua and her story has created something amazing. This is a game everyone should play, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to have lived inside the mind of Senua, however briefly.

Incredible Game
The combat feels perfect, the story is captivating, and the experience is breathtaking. Buy it. You won't regret it.

Fatal error!
Only managed to play a few hours worth before i gave up. The game was different and propably deserves a 4 gameplay ad story- wise but I can't be bothered to play it anymore as I can rarely get it to start at all. Most error prone game I've had this decade.

Biggest disappointment of the year
This game could have been outstanding. If only it would have focussed on its great potency. But unfortunately the creators had chosen a different path and ruined it by a really crappy part (at least for me): eternal combat. This totally ruins the immersive story-telling, only for being "a game". Honestly, after one hour of the game I had to quit it, because I was so annoyed. Not only that the fights became very repetitive very fast, the combat system itself is a total flaw. Sad that I will never get to know this interesting story, but like this, the game is rubbish.

beginning bluff ruined everything
I kinda hated the beginning "bluff". It put me in such a bad mood that i then saw every aspect of the game as tedious bad and boring. I might not be fair to the game after that point. But so much disrespect to the player put me off, instantly. There are definitly better ways to make a player "feel" fear than to threaten him to loose all its progression definitly. In the end my reaction was, i don't want to learn anything from those .... erf you got the point.
