Embrace tradition
I'm not great at shooters, so getting my butt kicked is on me. Still, it's very addictive and fun. And the story is quite interesting.

One of the best boomer shooters but...
I like the weapon variety and the many uses each have, every map is pretty detailed so its kinda hard to get lost, but my problem is that some of them are massive and can get monotonous to finish, i love each one but they overstay their welcome.

For a GZdoom game this is just so-so. The movement is poor, OMG how slow is this $%#^$. The weapons are ho-hum techno stuff with little "feel" of destruction. I'm a HUGE GZDOOM fan and many awesome mods and TC have come from it, but this is NOT ONE of them. The colors are terrible, enemies blend into the monochrome backgrounds like they were stickers on the walls. Overall the graphics are some of the worst I've ever seen in a game made in the 21st century. They call them retro, I call them 3rd grader crayon style graphics. Save your money and download ANYTHING from the DoomerBoards Project and you will be MUCH happier. I don't have a monster machine so I expected some bit of lag but this game chokes frequently, but only briefly. I run Selaco or Ashes2036 without issues, so there is some optimization that needs to be down.
