still better then ATS or ETS

Something about the brutal police using attack helicopers, the possibility of the mafia getting involved, even to the stolen trucks hiding behind brush that you can buy for much cheaper, or the upgrades you can apply to your truck (or car) to make you invisible to the police. So much depth for an old game that new ones seem to lack. A real childhood memory I can live again. Hopefully GOG gets some more games like Test Drive: Off road 3.... that was a great game too....

CLASSIC, MUST PLAY, MUST BUY.

"Hard Truck 2: King of the Road" is an absolute blast! The graphics may be a bit dated, but the gameplay is timeless and incredibly fun. I love the freedom of the open road, the challenging missions, and the satisfying feeling of building my trucking empire. It's a classic that never gets old, and I can't get enough of it! BTW, If any of you bought the game and have issues running it - just google "D2GI github" and download the patch. :)) GL

An unforgettable classic experience!

For some people, this is definitely superior to what Euro Truck Simulator 2 offers. The feeling of action and the drama while racing with the rivals who's gonna make the delivery first - it's a great touch. There are some strange illogical parts (like police sometimes being too aggressive and even sending a chopper to snatch you, ha!). Even with all that, this is an amazing game with all its pros and cons. It was an unforgetable experience to play it as a child back in the day. Let's make a toast to that!

A dear mess of a game from the childhood

A game that used to seem huge back in the day. Once the nostalgia wears off, though – it is an extremely buggy and repetitive game. The map is pretty small and you can see everything there is to see in 2 – 3 hours. Then it becomes a grind for money and licences to hire drivers that generate passive income. The soundtrack is a banger.
