100+ hours spent learning the game, now all that "value" is lost. Now I feel no urge to log in and play.
And the changes made the game worse (in my opinion ofc).
Atleast the art for the cards is amaizing, and the witcher tales: thronebreaker is great,
Gwent's undergone a massive amount of changes. Some good, some bad. Yet the core is still Gwent, with amazing cards and fun combos. If you're looking for a Witcher themed card game that is not pay-to-win, rewards tactical sense and makes you feel like a chess player when you outplay your opponent, look no further. The game isn't perfect, and balance changes are needed, but CDPR have stated that they will do their utmost to bring you the best Gwent possible, with constant faction challenges and card expansions. Were it any other company I'd write this off as just a PR statement, but the guys at CDPR really do seem to care. Ignore complaints from the Beta Gwent players who are still holding on to something that needed to be changed and jump in to this wonderful world.
Some older cards look pretty bad, especially some of the "premium" 3d animations. But most cards have great art works and they look stunning in 4K, even if your monitor is set to 1440p.
