best competitive card game

PROS: - It's beautifull (arts for grown ups rather that teens and lovely soundtracks) - it's very rewarding (just start playing and you will get all cards soon) - totally F2P no P2W - Works well on mobiles as well as on PC - it has large and supporting community with many events and tournamnets CONS: - it might get overwhelming for new player to get to know all cards as they are more and more of those and some descriptions are quite complex. I personally started long time ago and there are efforts to change that (tutorials starting decks etc.)

I don't dislike card games but this one is caught my attention(and also I wanted my goodies for my cyberpunk playthrough)

Beta was better

Old Gwent was far better then this. Obly pro is better graphic but thats all. I would understand if Gwent stayed the same like beta and Thronebreaker will be in its current state. Played hundreds hours of beta and i quit gwent after like 10 hours of homecoming. Realy nice job in ruining promising game

It's good but not exciting enough

PROS: - amazing art and animations - Witcher universe - it's very different than your regular "Hearthstone clone" games - very good progression system - as f2p you can build multiple decks fairly quickly - official CDPR tournaments CONS: - way too many strong neutral cards compared to faction cards makes all decks feel too "samey" - faction identity is lacking - going first usually gives you a disadvantage - gameplay is very linear and lacks exciting moments. Playing and winning doesn't feel as good as in other card games NEUTRAL: - game is very dark (not just the overall atmosphere, but the board, cards, everything) - there is barely any NA playerbase so queue times are longer during those hours - no replays or tournament mode. No mobile version. GOG only.

Awful after Homecoming and out of beta

A brilliant game in beta but, after half the cards were removed for the full release, and then we got the Homecoming update and, after that, I stopped playing and deleted the game. A shame, as it had huge potential but...no.
