Unique among other Hearthstone clones
For someone looking for a unique card game experience, look no further. For the most part it feels fair when you lose, and incredibly satisfying when you win. There are few cheap RNG power swings like you see in other games of the genre. This makes competitive deckbuilding an intimidating endeavor since when played correctly will ensure victory. I'm still wrapping my head around which cards are higher power than others because it seems much more dependent on the meta. I am looking forward to the mulligan changes which will further balance the leaders and create more consistency for the decks. I do worry about increasing player base since the game does have a decent learning curve. The rewards system in the game is very generous compared to other games. I find myself with plenty of scraps to craft any new cards I want from just playing a couple of games daily. Because of this I did buy the holiday pack and Thronebreaker to support the devs. Ultimately, the game is free so it allows you to give it a try and decide for yourself whether it deserves your support.
