The best of both worlds!

IMO the game is perfect balance between complex interraction mechanics and casual fun. If you don't want to go through the thousands of MTG cards and interractions, but you're tired of Hearthstone - this is for you. The game is very enjoyable and great fun. Especially after Homecoming it feels so much more like a card game. It easily has the most beautiful card art you will ever see. You can probably spend hours just looking at the cards' art and enjoy the premiums. The system is extremely generious, even if you're F2P guy. With the reward tree system alone you will be racking tons of ore and kegs in no time. On top of that you will get daily quests awarding you more, and ON TOP of that you can watch streams for a chance to win even more freebies. Give it a try.

Adding another positive voice.

I agree with all of the other 5 star reviews. This is the best card game I've ever played. The game is generous. The matches are tactical and fun. The art is gorgeous. The devs have been largely responsive to feedback, and they have steadily improved the game over time, though there have been some steps back at times as to be expected. Overall, well worth your time if you like card games, and even if you don't I would recommend giving it a few hours of your time to see if this one peaks your fancy.

Horribly balanced since LAUNCH.

For months now there have constantly been only a handful of absolutely busted decks that ruin the experience for everyone, and CDPR does nothing about it. They launch one small balance patch a month, and keep on ADDING MORE CONTENT WHEN THEIR GAME IS ALREADY INCREDIBLY UNBALANCED AND SO MANY CARDS ARE WORTHLESS. Cards that haven't seen play since launch are still terrible. But real quick, pre-order our 70$ expansion bundle, not like the next patch is going to be absolutely broken as well.

I highly recommend

+ Highly addictive + Easy to learn + Feel the climate of Witcher + more grown up than Hearthstone + Eye-catching graphics and animation - Minor errors at the moment but patches come out often

One of the best card games

I've had a life long love for card games. Poker, magic the gathering and now Gwent. Really well polished game. I normally don't write reviews but this one totally deserves the 5 stars. Try it out if you haven't already.
