Small Buffs Mostly Reasonably Done Fluff
I received a free copy of Greedfall and bought this mostly as a tip to the developers since I'm enjoying it thus far.
Items give you a small leg up early game without being game-breakingly overpowered.
Is it essential content at great value? Not particularly, especially by comparison, when the game itself goes between cheap and free. But the unique hat at least remains useful throughout the game, so it isn't entirely limited to slightly superior starter gear, and like all outfits/weapons in game they are well-rendered and detailed.
When you consider this was originally part of the pre-order, it's about what you'd expect for a reasonable sum. Think the low rating is due the general dislike of DLC gear and gamers with FOMO bitter about a fairly minor unique buff being part of the preorder/DLC.
