Invisible barriers
I tested the demo on Steam for 3 hours and played until the end of the demo. I finished the original Gothic 1 about 24 years ago and continued with the second one. All in all, the remake has a Gothic 1 feel. But one thing really bothers me. In the original, you could throw yourself off cliffs, but in this remake, that's not possible due to invisible barriers. They really need to improve that. Like every early demo, there were of course a few bugs, for example I couldn't put the torch back in the holster and I got stuck with the torch in the cave and couldn't get out. This bug also caused the torch to suddenly multiply a hundredfold. But I think all of these bugs will be fixed before the release. Overall, I am very happy with the remake.
