One of the best games in the World

This is one of the games i have played, in my childhood. Just the mere though of how good the games still is too day, is just mind blowing. The game is at third person shooter, with some base building strategy parts in it too. This makes it fun for more then just for normal shooter game. The single player, is funny and challenging, and even though there are some small bug, it dos not destroy experience, of the game. Multi player is in many ways better, then most new game that are bast having good multi player experience. This is the best game that interplay have made, and even though its many years sine they made, I still hope they make a sequel, because this is a awesome game, and the world and character, should have a sequel

Still one of my favourite games

One of the games that corrupted my young self and turned me into the socially reclused gamer I am today. I gotta say i usually hate going back to old games at the risk of tainting my joy filled memories. But this, this is still as amazing as it once was and to this day i've yet to play a game with anywhere near as much awesome humour as this. Oh and the gameplays pretty good as well, you get to play as a giant ass giant and a hot bow wielding caster with RTS elemnts thrown in as well as the FPS stuff what more could you want.

A comic masterpiece

The very first time I played Giants was when it was released for the Ps2,at the time I knew nothing about the game( I didn't even know that some of the team worked on Earthworm Jim back in the day) what I found was a game that I could only describe as a comic masterpiece that mixed fantastic writing and several different genre of gameplay into one amazing package. So when I first came across GOG.com I noticed that they had the original PC version of it(its easily the best version of the game) and it was just 5 bucks. so right now I'm in the process of beating the game(something I never did) and I can highly recommend it to anyone out there.

Ahead of its time

Fun gameplay, huge maps (for the time), great visuals and a light-hearted sense of humor to boot. | | While playing this game I get the feeling that the Planet Moon Studios dev team didn't hold itself back. The dialogue in the cutscenes feels natural, the comedy is over-the-top and self-aware, the 3D visuals are (to my great surprise) *still* great and the game mechanics are... daring... yeah, I think that's the best word to describe it. | | Why? Well, because the devs didn't confine themselves to a specific game-type, but rather chose to freely shift from a 3rd person shooter to a 3rd person base-war strategy game to a racing game. | | This last aspect brings up some pros and cons. On one hand this makes the game stand out as something unique and special for the time, not falling prey to some rigid canon imposed by game publishers (like many present-day AAA titles), but on the other it causes some aspects of it to be a bit hit-and-miss. | | You'll find a good number of harmless bugs here and there and some levels feel like they were too ambitious for the devs to fully achieve but, considering the year that it was released, this was truly ahead of its time. | | Worth playing, if you ask me.
