Nearly amazing

This game can be really hard at times. But the endorphines released upon finally finishing a level totally make up for it. I do appreciate though that this might not be everyone's cup of tea, and sometimes I felt that I died for unfair reasons. The story took a bit of a back seat to the gameplay, which worked out nicely for this game in my opinion. Can't really focus on an in-depth storyline while trying to stay alive anyway. Soundtrack is absolutely stellar, really goes well with the flow of the game and it absolutely is enjoyable on its own. Great graphics, ran very smooth on my R5 3600 and GTX 1070. I suppose raytracing would've made it even sweeter. As a fan of the Mirror's Edge series I was delighted by the movement and the flow it creates. Levels were nicely laid out. Sometimes I would've wished for some more variety within a level, but overall solid work. Really liked this game. And there is an assist mode now, so it should be a more pleasant experience for players that found it too hard otherwise.

Quick Fun |tho each lvl takes abt 30 min

Pros: Combat is simple but fun. Everything one shots (you and enemies). Combat is a mixture of timing and strategy (find best route to dodge enemies and strike fast) Story isn't too bad. A little tropey, but not cheesy. I felt challenged but never enough to rage quit. And I felt entertained but not exhausted. Honestly, this is the first game I've finished in like 3 years. Most games I lose interest or just begin to feel like a slog. At around 13 hours time to complete, I felt good about this game. It has some replay value in a hardcore mode too if you want some more challenge/hours. Cons: If you quit part way through a level, you lose your progress. Levels can be 30-45 minutes depending on how bad you are. (They are quicker once you know what to do on 2nd pass through). So even though gameplay is fast, it can eat up chunks of time or you find yourself replaying 50% of a mission. Final level is dumb Platforming is fun for combat, but not fun when it's just for platforming sake. Near the end, they introduce a new enemy which just doesn't mesh well in the game imo TL;DR: I'd recommend playing this game. Buy on sale though.

Interesting idea with some major flaws

Game is basically Katana Zero in 3D with some mirror's edgey parkour. Good idea, and while the combat is pretty fantastic (bar a few issues), the way it constantly breaks the pacing is painful. Imagine if HLM or KZ stopped the action to make you do puzzles. Had a lot of potential, hope that they can nail the execution if they ever make a second one

History little vague

It's a pretty good game, the inertia that you get when playing is amazing. The game doesn't focus much on the history, I think the developpers could have explained better the history, it looks like you started wathing a movie at the midle. Overral it's a great game to play, the parkour and the fight dinamic is awsome. Recomend a lot

Awesome movement, not much else

This is a game that I honestly don't recommend despite really enjoying my time with it. It DEMANDS perfectionist of you, and I'd be happy to give it if it wasn't for the AFH (Absolute Fucking Horseshit) plastered all over this. I find myself landing on geometry I shouldn't be, sometimes wall runs don't work at all or just give up halfway through, the enemies are unreasonably fast in both movement and attacks, there is no manual save meaning if you get stuck on an arena and decide to come back later, you have to do ALL of the level again - It's all these small things that add up to a game that I both love and can't stand at the same time. It knows it's hard - but unlike something like Dark Souls, this isn't hard but fair. This is hard but AFH.
