Back to basics
Plays exactly how a metroivania should play. I like the art style. The music left me wanting though. It could really use more music, especially in certain areas with enemies.

nO MouSE sUpPorT BoO HoO mY lIFe iS OvEr
Bunch of trolls complaining about no mouse support and calling the developers lazy. This game is pretty cool so far, remembered seeing something on twitter a few years ago I think about this game and nearly forgot about it only to come across it while browing the store. Its pretty good for a metroidvania style game with decent visuals. Experienced a couple crashes first few hours but patches will come by sometime to fix them. I would recommend it especially for $20.

Slow and Boring - Typical Souls-like
The intro is a total slog. Empty and boring. Your controls and shooting mechanics are hampered to the point where I don't particularly know what the goal was besides making you hate the experience of playing, right from the start. Typical of indie devs, they nail the art and everything else about solid game design is foregone. I'd avoid, even on sale, honestly.
