You become the Ghost Master in a unique witches brew of strategy, adventure, and ghoulish sim. Your sole purpose is to frighten the mortals right out of town.
Ghost Master features:
14 unique scenarios - ghoulish mysteries with multiple solutions; over 40 spirit types to command - from horrible cenobites like phantoms to hordes of spiders; 11 environments - ghostly atmospheres based on films of classic; horrors such as "Blair Witch" or "Evil Dead" and up to 30 separate characters per level for extended gameplay options.

Quirky, thoughtfully-made, and unbelievably fun, Ghost Master delivers superbly on a rather unusual premise: Can you scare people away from their abodes?
You're given a large arsenal of comically sinister spectres with which to accomplish this goal, and everything from music to the responses of the terrified humans is nicely done.
The game feels polished, despite being a relatively unknown product. For GOG prices, this is the bargain of the century.
I remember playing this game when it came out and I was playing it a while ago and my little one loved it. You are the ghost master and strategy is a must. I wish they would have created the expansion promised.
One of the most imaginative and enjoyably weird games I have ever played. If you have any interest in a game that pays homage to the classic sensibilities of the supernatural horror genre while simultaneously subverting it and parodying it, you owe it to yourself to give this a look.
Ghost Master, though ludicrously named, is a very fun if repetitive RTS game at its core. Though instead of constructing buildings and waging war against aliens/demons/etc. you are haunting a house until some pre-determined objectives are complete.
The level progression is interesting, and honestly my only major complaint is that it can be frustratingly difficult to try to collect all of the spirits yourself without consulting a guide of some kind.
That said, the basic gameplay of "haunt a place until you scare the living daylights out of all the mortals" carries surprising depth and fun.
Especially if you happen to be reading this over the weekend of 6-10-11, you could do a heck of a lot worse for 2.99 US. Give it a try. I think you might find it spooky good!
