Originally released in 1999 as a new generation in the highly popular FATAL FURY Series, GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES still continues to fascinate players around the world to this day.
Set 10 years after Geese Howard’s death, GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES restarts the legendary series with a new hero, “Rock Howard”, and hosts a plethora of new charismatic characters. Moreover, this new installment in the FATAL FURY Series abandons the traditional sway line mechanic, and brings numerous new strategies with the “T.O.P. System," “Just Defended," and “Breaking” battle features instead.

One of the greatest fighting games
Easily one of the best fighting games of all time, up there in the top 3 SNK games of all time in my opinion. A great, accessible, fast and addictive fighting game with a high amount of polish and personality. This was recently updated to the Code Mystics build of the game (rather than Dot Emu) and it runs like a dream mostly.

Brilliant port - Code Mystics rule.
A few years back I bought a bundle of SNK games that were ported by DotEmu. All decent, bare bones emulation jobs. A few KoF games were included that I found impenetrable. Basically there was no practice mode and you had to cycle through 3 characters - so how were you meant to git gud? I recently decided to reinstall a KoF game - 98 to be specific - and to my surprise the original had been replaced by a new version by Code Mystics that included a practice mode. Heaven! I looked up Code Mystics and found they'd also ported Garou. Now this is the game for me as a hardcore casual - a practice mode and it's one on one. I can finally learn a character! Seriously - I wish Code Mystics were listed in the details for the product - I'll definitely be looking up their other ports (in fact just picked up SSV).

Average port of an amazing game
while The game itself is a brilliant late 90s 2-D fighting game with unique characters amazing art and great gameplay the port itself is sadly imperfect minor input lag occasional audio glitches and some other minor issues really prevent this game from receiving a perfect score hopefully one day they can fix some of these issues

This game enlarge your arcade stick
This is Garou, do I really need to say something about this game ? Ok, fine. Good port, it needs a little mapping edit for your arcade stick, its a tough & technic game, very solid.Netcode is good. One of the Top 3 fighting games with Samurai Shodown II/V Special & The Last Blade 2.
